DIY $5 Bathroom Mirror Tutorial | Yarn|Hook|Needles

So we are in the process of a master bathroom makeover.

This mirror was one of my projects.

It really only cost $5!

Here’s what I used:

– front wood panel from an old piano we got off craigslist

– wood glue

– grab n go onyx paint from Walmart (I’m using this on several projects and I only used about 1/4 cup of the whole gallon)

– $5 mirror from Walmart

Here’s how I did it…

I gathered my materialsĀ

Then I painted the wood where the mirror was not covering it.

Then I applied the wood glue. I’m sure you could use liquid nail or even a adequate amount of hot glue from a glue gun if you wanted. This glue is what I had readily available so that’s what I went with.

Then I just measured and placed the mirror down.

Pretty simple to do!

I would recommend check craigslist for free wood before you purchase any wood. Unless you’re going for a certain look etc.

I don’t have a photo of it up on the wall because I’m not finished with the bathroom walls yet but once I’m done I will post and link back to this post.

I’m considering adding the mason jar containers to the bottom too but I’m not sure yet.

I’ll decide that once I’m ready to hang it.

Hope you enjoyed this short and sweet tutorial!
