No-Sew Flannel Cafe Kitchen Curtains. Perfect for the Traditional Farmhouse Style! | Yarn|Hook|Needles

Make these easy no-sew flannel curtains!!! Perfect for the holidays!!!

Sometimes a project needs to be quick, easy and time efficient!

Today I am sharing how I made my no-sew flannel curtains in less than 20 minutes. It was super easy and I think they are adorable 🙂

I am getting SO CLOSE to being finished with my farmhouse kitchen and I can hardly wait to post the reveal here!!!

In the meantime you can check out some of my tutorials along the way!

Let’s get started!

Here are the things I used:

  • 1 yrd of flannel fabric (I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby)
  • iron on adhesive in 1/4in width (you can get this at walmart)
  • scissors
  • pins
  • iron
  • small curtain rod
  • clips for holding the curtain
  • drill

I hung my pole in the middle of my window pain. I then slid the rings with clips on the bar. I measured how long I would need the curtains to be making sure to keep them high enough so they wouldn’t be sitting on the countertop behind the sink!

I then pinned everything down and took it to the ironing board to make sure everything was lying flat before I laid the iron on adhesive down.

I will say, making sure everything is even is SO EASY to do with flannel or some type of striped pattern fabric!

Once I was done hemming each of the panels with the iron-on adhesive I clipped them up and stood back to admire!

I really love how these turned out! I plan on making a larger sewn version for my two bigger windows in my kitchen. I will most likely make some for my living room as well. I’m not totally sure yet.

I think you will enjoy this project, especially if you aren’t fluent in sewing machines! 🙂

Always remember when you are making things for your home make the things you love! When you are the one doing the creating you are in control of exactly how it looks.

You don’t have to be creative, you just have to be willing to try something new!
